For hero shots that need to look cinematic If you can access Sora, use it. The extra time and cost are worth it when the footage is the centerpiece of the project. If Sora isn't available, use Kling for human subjects or Runway for everything else, then plan extra budget for color grading and post.
For experimental or heavily stylized projects Start with Pika. The editing tools and stylization flexibility give you more creative range. Expect to generate many variations and composite the best pieces.
